After years in formal product design, Tiago walked away from the rigid, linear world of commercial manufacturing to follow something more honest: the organic flow of nature.
The result is Steel Rod Weaving, a technique he developed himself, bending and hand-weaving industrial steel into forms that look like they grew, not like they were made.
The Blue Crocus
No two are the same. Ever.
Every piece in the Blue Crocus Series is hand-woven stem by stem. Cold-bent steel meets warm patinated brass, an alchemy that creates a golden, shifting light unlike anything cast or moulded.
